Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Central Bakery Manager to oversee our Central Bakery Production Facility in North Grand Forks. As the Central Bakery Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and safe operation of our baking production facility. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of production, quality control, staff management, and facility maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Production Management:
  • Oversee all aspects of the baking production process, ensuring products are manufactured to high-quality standards.
  • Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demands efficiently.
  • Monitor production metrics, identify areas for improvement, and implement necessary changes to optimize production processes.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards.
  1. Team Leadership:
  • Recruit, train, and supervise production staff.
  • Foster a culture of teamwork, safety, and continuous improvement among the production team.
  • Set performance goals and provide regular feedback to employees.
  1. Safety and Compliance:
  • Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to safety regulations and promoting a safety-first culture.
  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations related to food production and manufacturing.
  1. Inventory and Supply Chain Management:
  • Manage inventory levels to meet production needs while minimizing waste.
  1. Budget and Cost Control:
  • Develop and manage the facility's budget, controlling costs and optimizing resource utilization.
  1. Maintenance and Equipment:
  • Oversee equipment maintenance schedules and ensure that machinery is in good working condition.
  • Coordinate with maintenance staff to address equipment breakdowns promptly.
  1. Quality Assurance:
  • Implement and monitor quality control measures to ensure products meet or exceed quality standards.
  • Investigate and resolve any quality issues or customer complaints.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a leadership role within a baking or food production facility.
  • Strong understanding of baking processes, equipment, and quality control.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and industry standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet production deadlines.
